Dr. Dorothy Patience Ani is a distinguished Agricultural Economist with specialization in Agricultural Marketing and Agribusiness, Farm Management and Production Economics, and Sustainable Development. She has acquired knowledge and technical expertise through capacity-building trainings offered by organizations such as IFPRI, USAID/ADANS, PILAF, GIAE, and the World Bank. She has been actively involved in community development programs and project implementation with local and international donor organizations, focusing on agricultural productivity, environmental sustainability, and support for vulnerable and rural populations. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension at Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi, a facilitator in Social Standards at the Institute for Innovation in Procurement, Environmental and Social Standards, and a prolific scholar and journal reviewer.
